WoW addons are certainly not required to play the game. Says so on the box, but other players might disagree and call WoW unplayable without some of these mods. Some are required for serious PvE and PvP guilds. Finding the right addons though can be difficult. So lets say wowcollege has saved you some time and came up with a list of the Top 10 Must Have Addons to Survive Nothrend!

So lets say wowcollege has saved you some time and came up with a list of the Top 10 Must Have Addons to Survive Nothrend! 10. Bartender4 - This helps get your skills in order so all of them can be used at your fingertips. Unlike the old action bar, which has limited spaces, Bartender4 puts all of the spells you want on the screen for you. No more fumbling through your spell book for spells you hardly use. This addon isnt required, but it does make life easier. 9. Titan Panel - This custom UI helps provide you with important, and interesting stats. Things like kills till level, gold per hour, and computer performance can be seen easily with this UI. A bonus is that you can customize everything about Titan Panel. With a little computer skills you can add plugins and themes. This isn't a required addon, but I find it to be. 8. RatingBuster - Playing without this addon is retarted, plain and simple. What RatingBuster does is converts the stats on items over to percentages and when facing a situation when you think an item could replace one that you are wearing, RatingBuster will break down the stats of each item and show you which one you should be wearing. I always struggled with choosing upgrades until now. This is what I would call a required addon to play WoW. 7. Omen Threat Meter - In every instance there seems to be a problem with DPS and tanks. Tanks wont even get to the mobs before the DPS go buck wild and pop CD's in order to stay on top of the charts and this always results into a wipe. "The tank can't keep aggro! QQ QQ QQ!" and everyone else /sigh because they understand how aggro works because they have omen threat meter which alerts you when your threat may take the mobs from the tank. Usually when that happens you might want to do a skill that looses that pesky threat. This for PvE is required, but has no use for PvP. 6. Deadly Boss Mods - Any raider that you encounter in pre-bc all the way to WoLK has had this addon. It is just a raider must. What this addon does is display information about each encounter and proved timers and raid warnings when effects are happening. Simply beautiful... makes raiding nearly impossible to screw up. NOTE: nearly... This is required for any person that will be raiding. 5. Recount - If i have ever seen any thing sweeter then this I think I would die. This addon is the ultimate in graphic damage meters. For DPS and Healers alike get your rotations down to improve your DPS or HPS. The faster you do it the more valuable you are in PvE and PvP. This is required for both hands down. 4. Atlasloot Enhanced - Every single item, where it drops, the drop rate, pvp rewards, faction rewards, the whole nine is displayed in this addon. You have to know where to go get your phat lewtz don't you? 3. Gatherer - My personal most hatted professions used to be the gatherer professions. Hunting down nodes while I quested or even at 60,70,80 was really really annoying. What gatherer does is tracks where the nodes you, or anyone thats incontact with you are. It will record where they are how often they are there and what they have. No more aimless running around after you build this database. Yesssss. Its almost like I get free gold for running in circles all day now. If you have a gatherer profession this is a must. 2. Auctioneer - Did you know that the Auction House is just like real world trade? Lets take for example the past decade... gas prices hit an all time high, yet its made from the waste of oil. Seeing an opportunity prices were spiked and profits were collected. Supply and demand. Now lets say there happens to be Frostweave cloth on AH for cheap, buy it out, sell it inflated make a profit. Of course the process isn't that simple, but an example. This is a required addon for WoLK.
